Sarah McClure

Founder and Artistic Director

Started dancing at age 10 and spent her undergraduate years training in competitive dance and Milwaukee Ballet School under Nancy McCloud. Upon graduating high school, she attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she studied Dance Performance and Choreography as well as Music and Leadership. Training under Sharon Wong, Eddie Ocampo, Matthew Farmer, and Crystal Frazier, she was selected to dance in several seasons of the faculty dance concerts (Dance 39 and Dance 40) as well had her choreography highlighted in the student dance concert series.

Once she returned to Wisconsin, Sarah joined forces at local dance studios to train, nurture, and cultivate inspiration for the upcoming generation. She took on roles growing local programs as a director of Academy of Performing Arts in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and Assistant Competitive Company Director at Studio One Dance Company in Wales, Wisconsin. Her accomplishments include numerous choreography and technique awards in both Allstar and studio dance- additionally producing national and state title winners in all divisions.  Several past students have gone on to study at prestigious dance schools and dance companies such as Chapman University, Tisch School of the Arts, University of Iowa, Dance Team Wisconsin, Ballet Magnificat, Arrows International, and Magnum Opus.

Currently, she runs The Company Dance Arts, an elective competition and performance dance company housing pre-professional classes, seminars, and competitive and professional training in southeastern Wisconsin. 

Steffany Sauer

Steffany Sauer began dancing at the age of three and quickly developed a passion for both performance and movement. She trained as a competitive dancer for six years and won numerous awards for her performances. Her experience in competitive dance helped shape a strong technical foundation, artistry, and appreciation for storytelling through movement. In addition to performing, Steffany spent 5+ years teaching dance where she has had the opportunity to mentor and inspire dancers of all ages and skill levels. Her choreography has received award winning recognition reflecting her commitment to creativity and musicality. Steffany is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, combining her background in dance with a growing interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation. In the future, she hopes to work with dancers to help them prevent injuries, recover safely, and continue performing at their highest level.

Lauren Fleury

Lauren Fleury is an active dancer, choreographer, and model based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Choreography and Performance.

Lauren continues to share her artistry within the community through performances such as Uncommon Grounds, Get it Out There, and For The Wolves. Her newest showing, Little Sparrow, will debut on June 14th at Villa Terrace. Beyond the local scene, she has traveled with Theatre Gigante and collaborated as a dancer with the New York-based Peter Stathas Dance Company. Lauren also enjoys performing for nonprofit organizations and events, including Dance For Hope, the Global Water Dance Festival, and the Fringe Festival.

Lauren is passionate about finding a balance between commercial and concert dance within her choreographic process. She strives to educate and inspire younger dancers as she navigates her evolving professional career.
